Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta 7 Update Rolls Out

The summer updates are rolling out one by one. Apple continues the testing work and seeds the new Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan beta 7 version. Ordinary users still have to wait for the public release and testers should soon see the new public beta launch. Developers, just as always, are the first ones to taste the piece of Apple future pie.

You can download OS X El Capitan beta 7 if you are already running the sixth beta. This is possible only if you are a registered developer who is taking part in the ‘fruit’ company’s testing program.

Apple this summer is working on several major upgrades. It is testing the upcoming iOS 9 firmware for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. This OS will be pre-installed on the new generation iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The company is also improving the platform for Mac users. The new El Capitan version will officially roll out sometime this fall, maybe in early or mid-September.

El Capitan really reminds of the current Yosemite version. It has the same design and no major changes in how it looks and feels. At the same time the Mac company is doing everything to improve, enhance and make it important for users.

You can grab the upgrade form the Mac App Store. Remember that you should be already running the previous beta version of the software in order to update this way. You can also download 10.11 beta seven from the Dev Center where all the most recent firmware updates are present.

Please wait. It will take a few seconds...
